Troodon Dinosaur Tooth f5f11df49454e60dea16564a62ad0f3d This comes from the oxidizedThe Troodon was one of the first dinosaurs discovered in North America. It was a small, meat eating dinosaur; however, the small serrations found on their teeth are similar to those found on herbivorous reptiles. This suggests that they may have been omnivorous rather than strictly meat eating. These lived in North America during the late cretaceous period (appx. 77 66 MYO). The name Troodon was given based on the Greek words which mean wound tooth.
