This piece is a medley of folk tunes collected and played by local Forbes musician Harry Schaefer (1876 1954). Harry played the violin at dances in the local area what we know today as a 'Bush Dance'. Unlike most other dance musicians of the time, Harry kept a written record of the tunes he played.
