A much more elegant nose displays cool and ultra-fresh aromas of both red and dark pinot fruit that is trimmed in much more subtle oak nuances

A top note of hazelnut is present on the smoky aromas of acacia blossom

This is really quite lovely with a really impressive purity of expression and should age well for years

with sharp tannins on the finish

I very much like the texture of the more refined yet slightly more concentrated flavors that conclude in a mildly austere finish where a touch of warmth also appears. This too could use better depth, but my rating offers the benefit of the doubt that it will progressively develop over time.
