This is the first wine to display any appreciable amount of wood and even here it’s quite subtle as it easily allows the notably exotic aromas of dried yellow fruit

Moderate reduction once again suppresses the underlying fruit though it does seem ripe

There is concentration and power

and this vintage does a great job of packaging it all together

Olivier Leflaive, Puligny Montrachet Folatieres Vintage:2023 This is the first wine(from Peux Bois). There is a whiff of the exotic to the spicy, acacia blossom, white peach and dried apricot infused aromas. There is both better volume and mid palate density to the caressing but punchy medium bodied flavors that exude a hint of minerality on the clean, very dry and lingering finish where a hint of wood emerges. This is already good and is potentially excellent. (91 93) 2025+
