Red cedar wood is a natural moth repellent and for those of us who don't stretch to a cedar lined wardrobe these are the next best thing. The blocks will last a lifetime as when they (eventually) lose their scent, you can re invigorate them with a light sanding or application of more cedar oil which is sold separately.
