The album was released on Oct. 17, 2000 and by Dec. 18, 2000 was certified Gold by the RIAA. The album featured guest appearances from Carlos Santana, B Real, Rahzel, N'Dea Davenport, Cee Lo Green, Warren Haynes, and Kurupt and reached #20 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. Single "Black Jesus" hit #15 on the Top Alternative Songs chart. It also charted in numerous other music markets
