this is old vine Cabernet Sauvignon with a little Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot
on the top of a high plateau where the northerly “cierzo” wind plays a key role adding an edge to the wine
where it ages for 18 months with only a touch of sulphur at bottling
This is their first go at making some alcohol free wine
Dao Tinto 2023, Quinta do Correio Brandy this is old vine CabernetFrom one of Dao's great producers, Quinta dos Roques, this is a deliciously brambly, juicy, crunchy, blackberry fruited wine with a touch of soft spice and great freshness, made from Jaen which is also Mencia in Spain. Awesome BBQ fodder.
