The dress has a straight fit without tapering in at the waist. The top part of the back piece is knitted first, with a few cm seed stitch before stitches are picked up on each side to create the shoulder and neckline. Eventually the stitches on the front and back pieces are joined together and the body is knitted in the round on the same needles
