The salad plate in this set, although identical matching pattern, was released under Johnson Bros Old English design trade name, which would make its manufacture during the 1920s while the dinner and bread plates are earlier. The original of this pattern by Johnson Bros was released directly after 1913 and underwent a change in the 1920s. A gold band was added to the well and a gold scroll
